HR Operations Manager (Strong in C&B)
Job description
JOB SUMMARY
The HR Operations Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day HR operations and C&B management. This role involves ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR services, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and school policies. The HR Operations Manager will also support the HR & Admin Director in strategic HR planning and execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Compensation & Benefit Management
• Develop, implement, and maintain competitive compensation policies and benefits programs.
• Conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
• Manage and execute the annual salary review process and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Communicate effectively with employees regarding compensation and benefits, addressing inquiries and providing necessary guidance.
Payroll Processing
• Oversee and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Calculate wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions in line with local regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements, maintaining accurate records for internal and external audits.
Tax and Finalization
• Calculate and manage Personal Income Tax (PIT) for employees, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
• Prepare and submit PIT reports to relevant authorities, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist employees with PIT-related queries, providing accurate documentation and guidance as needed.
Compliance and Record-Keeping
• Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and company policies regarding compensation, benefits, and payroll.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of compensation, benefits, and payroll activities.
• Conduct regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
Recruitment and Onboarding
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to organizational needs, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with recruitment partners, universities, and external talent sources.
Employee Relations and Engagement
• Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and consistently, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, communication, and conflict resolution.
• Conduct regular surveys and engagement activities to gauge employee satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
Performance Management and Development
• Implement and manage a performance appraisal system aimed at driving employee development and high performance.
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities in collaboration with departmental leaders.
• Provide coaching and support to managers to ensure effective performance management practices are upheld.
HR Reporting and Analytics
• Prepare and deliver regular HR reports and analytics to senior management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
• Use HR metrics to identify trends, optimize HR processes, and implement data-driven improvements across the organization.

Job requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3 years in a manager role.
• Proven track record of success in managing HR operations in an educational or international organization.
Skills and Competencies
• Proficiency in English for business communication.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
