Job Description:

Head of IT/CS Department manages the development of the IT/CS industry.

Managing IT/CS field in HCMC:

• Research and understand training content at Swinburne;

• Organize and coordinate training instructors;

• Focal point for meetings with Swinburne Australia partners on training quality;

• Good Industry connection or professional experience.

• Be exemplary and do a good job as a lecturer;

• To take responsibility for meeting targets and deadlines according to agreed work plans, and to manage conflicting priorities smoothly, accountably, and effectively.

Participate in lectures on IT/CS course:

• Train and evaluate students according to Swinburne standards;

• Research through practical projects or scientific publications;

• Organize international, business and community experience activities for students;

• Participate in seminar activities, introduce the school, and interview students for scholarships;

• Participate in training to improve professional qualifications according to Swinburne's plan;

• Provide comprehensive support to students throughout their learning journey, including offering consulting, tutoring and advising during the learning process.

• Holding Master’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science, AI, IoT, Data Science, Intelligence Systems and Networks, Software Development and/or Engineering, etc. in the relevant discipline with outstanding results;

• Excellent communication skills, including writing, public speaking and interpersonal conversation. English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0+;

• Candidates who graduated from an English-speaking country or have a strong relevant academic research profile and/or industrial experience will be preferred;

• Working experience (in domestic and foreign enterprises) or scientific/commercial research works;

• Have research work published or published in Science journals in the past 5 years;

• Compassionate, positive and encouraging attitude.
