HCMC - Footwear Development Upper Material Specialist

YOUR MISSION:

As a key actor of Footwear Development Material Specialist for foam & reinforcement(toe puff, counter…), you are responsible for providing green & innovative foam & reinforcement solutions with the best quality & most optimized cost.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development 30%

You coordinate the development and duplication plan for your component process scopes.

You set up technical files of your components & make sure to guarantee the best quality.

You optimize development cost & negotiate fair price of the products seasonally.

You lead foam & reinforcement development & innovations to be a game changer.

• Industrialization 10%

You ensure the industrialization of your components from sample to mass production.

You ensure the first production batch to satisfy the technical requirements.

• Quality 55%

You manage the continuous improvement of quality performance in suppliers.

You coach and monitor quality system improvement in suppliers.

You ensure your suppliers autonomously improve their performance of compliance (Quality, Lab, Environment, Social compliance, Chemical risk management …).

You anticipate the quality risk of your activities & monitor the corrective actions implementations in a timely manner.

You actively coach and react quality problem solving in T1 and T2 in order to guarantee on-time shipment.

• Sourcing 5%

You lead & challenge upper supplier panels and implement sourcing depending on the customer’s needs (new process, new technologies, new trend …etc).

• You have minimum 3 years experience in footwear material development & quality control, and experience in footwear finished goods is a big advantage.

• You are ready to make decisions and responsible for your decisions.

• You have leadership & supplier management skills.

• You are a motivational communicator & a good negotiator.

• You have experience in project management.

• You are good at communication in English, Vietnamese, and Chinese is a plus.

• You are passionate about sports.

• You used to work in international environment.
