General Accountant (For Hospitality Industry)

Job Summary

Have responsibilities on all accounting documents/ accounting data

Key Responsibilities

• Input company expenses data (expense, inventory, revenue)

• Prepare, review and maintain the General Ledger on a monthly basis, including processing accounting journals and reconciliation. (including any standing accruals)

• Perform monthly expenses and income accruals

• Prepare monthly GL Account Analysis

• Post monthly payroll accounting transactions.

• Prepare analysis for income tax computation.

• Monitor and support taxation issues.

• Ensure all statutory tax and accounting reports and filings are prepared and submitted timely and accurately.

• Prepare reconciliation reports for Bank account and cost Inventory

• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to protect company assets, employees and operations.

• Prepare Financial Reports monthly/quarterly/annually in accordance to the company's requirements

• Ensure all proper accounting records are maintained with accuracy, timelines and completeness

• Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process

• Others as assigned by Accounting Manager and CFO

• University bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/audit

• At least 4 years of working experience in the Hospitality Industry

• Strong local Accounting and Tax

• Experience in VAT Refund for projects is preferred

• English fluency in both writing and speaking

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Computer literate with strong MS Excel and Accounting Software skills

• Can work with teamwork/ work independently

• Well-organized, hard-working, honest, and able to work effectively under pressure
