Job description
• Overall Finance Management:
Partner with the Country Manager, Brand Managers, and Shared Service teams to achieve key goals in net sales, cost of goods, operating expenses, net operating profit, fixed assets, and working capital management.
• Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
Drive brand strategic planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes.
• Performance Analysis:
Review and analyze productivity, cost of goods sold (COGS), category mix, advertising and promotion (A&P) effectiveness, and other key performance metrics to maximize affiliate performance.
• Reporting and Compliance:
• Business Plan Support:
Support the execution of business plans to meet regional goals, including new brand launches and channel expansions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, demand planning, and supply chain functions to validate sales assumptions and forecasts.
• Inventory Management:
Analyze saleable and promotional inventory levels at trade and in regional hubs.
• Communication Facilitation:
Interface with regional team, share service, Management team to ensure effective communication and facilitate the planning and control process.
• Business Presentations:
Prepare business presentations and scenarios as needed.
• Market Knowledge:
Establish a strong understanding of the business environment to provide independent evaluations of brand forecasts and financial risks or opportunities.
• Local Statutory Compliance:
Collaborate with Cluster Shared Service teams on local statutory matters.
• Relationship Management:
Manage relationships with cluster accounting teams, and regional finance teams.
• Project Leadership:
Lead projects focused on financial discipline, cost-saving initiatives, total consolidation, productivity improvements, and management accounting processes.
• Strategic Focus:
Prioritize strategic initiatives critical to the business, including e-commerce, omni-channel, and digital strategies.
Job requirements
Requirements
• Education: University degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in finance, preferably in the Consumer Goods & Retail industries, refer candidate has background from Big 04 auditing firms.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
• Certifications: CPA or CIMA preferred.
Skills:
• Strong business acumen and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proven track record as a finance business partner to country and brand managers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good understanding of the annual budgeting and estimating processes.
• Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or OneStream Corporate Performance Management systems, and Microsoft Business Intelligence.
• Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and solution-oriented thinking.
