Finance Director - Global Trusted Partner in Renewable Energy

This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, contribute to impactful renewable energy projects, and drive financial excellence in a growing organization. Description Finance and Accounting * Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management, including weekly cash flow forecasts. * Supervise both outsourced and in-house bookkeeping, ensuring timely and accurate monthly closings. * Review payments and financial data for consolidation. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audits, and internal controls. Transaction Management and M&A * Lead financial modeling and valuation for solar and infrastructure projects. * Oversee M&A processes, including due diligence, negotiations, and transaction execution. * Coordinate with banks, equity partners, and external consultants to secure financing and ensure smooth deal execution. * Prepare investment committee materials and align with HQ's M&A strategy. Tax and Compliance * Handle VAT, WHT, corporate tax filings, and compliance for loans and offshore operations. * Maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Leadership and Stakeholder Coordination * Manage and mentor a finance team of six, fostering professional growth and high performance. * Act as a key advisor to CEO and Head of Finance, providing actionable financial insights. * Collaborate across legal, commercial, and operational teams to achieve strategic objectives. Profile * Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or audit background preferred). * 10+ years in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Strong experience in cash flow management, M&A, and transaction execution. * Proven track record of engaging with local tax authorities. * Expertise in renewable energy or construction industries is highly desirable. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems. * Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. * Fluent in English.
