Envinronmental Compliance Specialist

As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Panasonic products comply with local and international environmental regulations. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing information on government policies, legislation, and regulations related to technical and environmental aspects that could impact our products. You will collaborate with internal teams to assess the effects of these regulations on Panasonic products and develop appropriate responses.

Key Responsibilities:

Information Collection:

Conduct research and analysis on government policies, initiatives, and proposals related to environmental and technical regulations that may impact products.

Collect and review product-related regulations, including initial or draft laws, through official channels and legal updates.

Internal Control Leadership:

Work closely with internal stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed regulations and legislation on Panasonic products.

Lead efforts in developing and implementing action plans to ensure compliance with emerging environmental standards.

Facilitate regular meetings with relevant departments to provide updates and discuss the execution of product-related legislation, including technical and environmental regulations.

Other Supporting Tasks:

Provide additional support on tasks related to compliance, sustainability, and regulatory affairs as assigned by management.

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Law, Sustainability, or a related field.

- Proven experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or regulatory affairs, preferably in product importation or manufacturing.
