Enterprise Architect, Senior Lead

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Enterprise Architect, Senior Lead who

• Plays a crucial role in aligning the technological infrastructure with the strategic goals of the company,

• Focuses on the design, planning, and implementation of enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency,

• Works closely with various stakeholders to develop a comprehensive IT architecture that supports business operations and drives innovation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Architectural Planning and Design:

• Develop and maintain the overall IT architecture framework for the insurance company.

• Create and document architectural standards and guidelines.

• Design scalable, secure, and robust IT solutions that align with business objectives.

Technology Evaluation and Selection:

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption.

• Assess existing systems and recommend upgrades or replacements.

• Ensure the chosen technologies integrate seamlessly with existing systems.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work with business analysts, developers, and IT staff to ensure cohesive integration of systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and IT group standards.

Implementation and Oversight:

• Oversee the implementation of architectural solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and support during the deployment of new systems.

• Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of architectural designs and changes.

• Prepare reports on system performance, potential improvements, and future needs.

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on enterprise systems in the insurance industry.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions.

• At least five years of proven work experience as a system architect, project manager, or equivalent position.

• Good knowledge of strategic IT solutions and hands-on experience in software development.

• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems. Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, SQL, SAP, Oracle, and C#.

• Ability to solve complex IT issues.

• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, and databases like SQL Server, Oracle.

• Expertise in cloud computing and cloud technologies.

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
