English Vietnamese Freelance Translator

• Use professional CAT tools to localize documents, websites, software,

manuals, etc., translating between English and Vietnamese while adapting

content to meet local requirements

• Perform various linguistic tasks to ensure high-quality localization, including

translation, editing, proofreading, and reviewing

• Collaborate with other linguists and Dr.Localize’s Point of Contact (Reviewer)

to ensure optimal results

• Support the management of the linguistic feedback loop to maintain quality

standards

• Participate in training sessions provided by Dr.Localize or Clients, focusing on

products and language-specific requirements

• Native Vietnamese speaker

• Good command of English

• A natural and refined translation style

• Passionate about the localization industry and dedicated to translation work

• Experience: Not mandatory but 2+ years is preferred

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Foreign Languages, Translation, or a related field

• Quick learner, especially with translation tools and technologies

• Hardworking, meticulous, and detail-oriented

• Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism

• Excellent multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills; highly deadline-driven

• Ability to perform well under pressure, both independently and in team settings

• Ability to work as a full-time freelancer or regular freelancer

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Marketing, Life Sciences, Finance, and/or Games is a plus
