Job description

- Department: Dye House Department / A&E Vietnam LLC

- Report To: Production Manager / A&E Vietnam LLC

- Supervise: 65 Person

- Overall Responsibility:

• Dyehouse Production and Quality.

o Lots Per Machine Per Day (LpMpD).

o Right First Time (RFT).

o Colour Quality <0.6 & <1.0.

o Redye Rate (RR).

o Machine Efficiency (Me).

o Dyehouse Lead Time (DLT).

o Manufacturing Lead Time (MLT).

o Laboratory to Bulk RFT.

o Reprocessing Lead Time (RLT).

• Update and coordinate all documentation (SOP’s and WI’s) across the dyehouse operations.

• Control and coordinate effective management of absenteeism.

• Process auditing implementation and performance.

• EHS Actions, GEMBA, improvements.

- Main Responsibility:

• Ensure daily wrong first time meetings are held and delivering results.

• Ensure Weekly and Monthly Wrong First Time meetings are held and delivering results.

• Coordinate and lead tool box meetings across all shifts.

• Minimize operational breakdowns through GMP activities.

• Coordinate all calibrations across all dyehouse critical control equipment.

• Minimize or reduce operational costs and expenses.

• Ensure all aspects of quality meet or exceed company standards.

• Ensure all personnel follow all EHS protocols and PPE disciplines.

• Manufacturing lead times are appropriately managed and achieving company goals.

• Ensure visually check and release or add on production lots as needed.

• Ensure assign production lots to be pulled by the receiving department.

• Ensure schedule the timely running of production lots and rushes according to machine size, allocation dates, and colors.

• Ensure accurate employee files, (i.e. attendance calendars, training records, pay plan audits, and any required disciplinary actions).

• Ensure proper housekeeping in all Dye House areas, including production and office areas.

• Assign work schedules.

• Perform any additional duties as may be required and directed by management.

Job requirements

- Bachelor's degree: Chemistry, Textiles, Management.

- Experience in dyeing chemistry is desirable but not essential

- At least 3-5 years of experience in a manager level

- Good command of English in both writing and speaking

- Skill Required:

• Proven record in Dye House management and all actions to achieving high RFT and Colour Quality (preferable).

• Lean Six Sigma black belt (preferable).

• Time Management.

• Process improvement.

• Data Analytics.

• Self Starter.

• Results driven.

• Ability to motivate, lead and facilitate manufacturing initiatives while fostering a cohesive work environment. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization (report writing and presentation skills needed).

• Ability to make decisions and exhibit good judgment.
