Driver (Le1)

The Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a self-motivated and well-organised candidate to fill a vacant Driver position (Locally Engaged Staff – LE1).The exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.

Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, an experienced and reliable Driver will support the Consulate transport requirements, which includes afterhours work with paid overtime and regional travel. The role is part of a small team requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to remain calm in high pressure situations. The position also supports the Property Team with minor office maintenance and is a backup for the receptionist.

The successful candidate will be offered a fixed term non-ongoing contract for initial one (1) year with a potential for renewal or ongoing/permanent contract. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 14,856,320 to VND 16,720,919. Refer to Applicant Information Pack.
