Job Brief

• We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager with extensive expertise in cloud migration and optimization, as well as infrastructure automation and team leadership. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in working with outsourcing companies, managing large teams (30+ members), and delivering innovative DevOps solutions. Fluency in French is essential, as this role involves collaboration with French-speaking clients and stakeholders to meet business objectives..

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30+ DevOps engineers, ensuring successful project delivery.

• Build and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Cloud Migration & Optimization:

• Oversee large-scale cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.

• Optimize cloud environments (AWS) for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Design and implement hybrid or multi-cloud strategies tailored to client needs.

CI/CD & Automation:

• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab for efficient software delivery.

• Drive infrastructure automation with tools such as Terraform Enterprise, Terragrunt, and Ansible.

Infrastructure Management:

• Manage core cloud services, including IAM, EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, RDS, Route 53, API Gateway, and Lambda…

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based infrastructure.

Client Engagement & Proposal Development:

• Work closely with French-speaking clients to understand their technical and business requirements.

• Develop and present tailored proposals for cloud migration, optimization, and DevOps services.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client escalations and strategic discussions.

Scripting & Process Automation:

• Leverage scripting languages such as Bash and Python to automate workflows and optimize processes.

• Ensure integration of operational best practices into application lifecycles.

Monitoring & Security:

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system uptime and reliability.

• Embed security practices into all aspects of cloud migration and DevOps processes (DevSecOps).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in DevOps, IT operations, or software development.

• Extensive experience in cloud migration, optimization, and hybrid cloud strategies.

• Proven success in managing large teams (30+ members) in outsourcing environments.

• Strong background in client-facing roles, including proposal development and delivery.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitLab.

• Expertise in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform Enterprise, Terragrunt, and Ansible.

• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and process optimization.

• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Deep experience with cloud services: IAM, EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, RDS, Route 53, API Gateway, and Lambda.

Languages:

• Fluent in French (native or near-native proficiency) for client and team interactions.

• Proficiency in English for internal communication and technical documentation.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional leadership and project management abilities.

• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
