1. Project planning and Design stage

• To prepare bidding documents for submission to Head of project to review consulting packages such as survey, design, environmental impact assessment, FPF, etc.

• To prepare documents to apply for budget approval for construction and installation packages.

• To prepare estimates for construction and installation packages

• To submit Head of project to review bidding packages before release

2. Construction contractor selection stage

• To control, monitor and update the drawings to check if there is any change related to the volume and quantity

• To prepare, examine, and review the prognosis table

• To establish, inspect, and review the entire tendering BOQ

• To participate in the preparation of other bidding documents if any

• To check and evaluate the volume, unit price, and value offered by contractors

• To participate in the negotiations with contractors for optimal prices

• To report to Head of project on summarized tendering information of contractors

3. Construction and installation stage:

• To consolidate and control all arising issues of the ongoing projects. To ensure the arising issues are handled in accordance with the process, ensure the correctness and completeness of the arising issues under the contract terms.

• To control the volume of payments to contractors

• To control the volume of settlement for the contractors

4. Warranty and maintenance stage:

• To prepare documents for budget approval for bidding packages in need of maintenance

• To prepare documents and evaluation of maintenance contractor selection

• To participate in the supervision of the implementation of maintenance packages if necessary, as assigned by the Head of project

• To control the payment for the contractor

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree in construction / construction economics

• Over 5 years of experience in QS of civil and industrial construction bidding packages

• Candidates with experience in QS in all stages of the project, from project formulation to implementation, handover, warranty, and maintenance are preferred

• Candidates with experience working for the Investor or Project Management Consultant are preferred

• Good conversational English

• Vietnamese only
