Depot Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

• Manage operating costs and pallet supply, while maintaining quality standard

• Orchestrate various team members to deliver result and achieve target

• Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, conflict of interest, Workplace Safety and Health as well as procedure are followed strictly.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

• Stock control

o Ensure adequate stock for both pallets and other raw materials

o Maintain accuracy of stock and promote traceability

o Ensure proper and timely record of all transactional and stock data

• Production

o Manage key production activities, such as, pallet repairs, and other supporting activities while maintaining balance between cost, supply, and quality

o Participate and develop new production process to support new business

• Planning & reporting

o Develop, prepare, execute, and monitor production plan

o Ensure key operational data and reports are delivered to relevant parties

• Depot Management

o Ensure all depots and facilities are properly well-maintained and clean

o Maintain efficient, safe, and smooth operational flow inside each depot

• Quality Management

o Ensure pallets and other Loscam products are in acceptable quality

• People management

o Effectively communicate and motivate team members to deliver results within agreed targets

o Instill and promote culture of honesty and hardworking to all staff

• Principal Occupational Health and Safety Activities

o Provide a safe working environment for employees, contract labour employees, contractors and visitors.

o Ensure all operations are carried out effectively and safely in accordance with Business OH&S policies and procedures.

o Assess any safety and environmental issues/ risks within the workplace and ensure adequate controls are initiated.

o Be involved in all accident/ incident investigations.

• Bachelor's degree in related fields (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain business, etc)

• Minimum 5 years experiences in management level

• Direct management experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Experience in lean manufacturing or/and TPS (Toyota Production System) would be advantage

• Strong interpersonal, conflict solving skills.

• Ability to organize and deploy work in high-pressure environments.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to present, written and oral communication skills, good to be able to convey information clearly and accurately for all positions in the company.

• High commitment and self-discipline

• Have the skills to listen to feedback and the ability to receive information in a positive way to improve self and work-related problems.
