Customer Service Executive - Freight Forwarding - HCMC

As a Customer Service Executive, your scope of work will involve managing customer inquiries, coordinating airfreight seafreight shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and internal teams. Description As a Customer Service Executive, you will report direct to the Customer Service Manager and handle these following tasks: * Procure the most effective option based on rates, transit time, customers' requirements, etc. * Generate competitive quotations. * Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding airfreight inquiries and shipments. * Address customer questions and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. * Manage the logistics of airfreight shipments, including booking, tracking, and documentation. * Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries. * Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, proactively communicating with customers about any delays or changes. * Prepare and review shipping documentation to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies. * Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to airfreight shipments. * Work closely with the operations and sales teams to provide a seamless customer experience. * Assist in the development of operational improvements to enhance service delivery. * Monitor customer feedback and service metrics, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Profile The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in freight forwarding and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, or a related field preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in air and ocean freight customer service or freight forwarding. * Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, regulations, and industry practices. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office.
