High Level Statement of the Role:
It is the mission of Continuous Improvement Manager to provide leadership and execution for University Furnishings DBA The Living Company in the country assigned to.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for facilitating the implementation and providing on-going leadership to ensure we deliver quality, speed, reliability.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities
• Key interface between University Furnishings DBA The Living Company Product/Quality/Development case goods and upholstery manufacturing partners.
• Manage all activities in order to support successful manufacture of University Furnishings DBA The Living Company seating and case good at worldwide facilities.
• Work with cross functional teams to meet customer expectations and work to continuously improve performance in the programs assigned.
• Will require travel to supply partners.
• Knowledge of program and custom material status and operational issues.
• Owns, collects, analyzes and drives supplier metrics.
• Audit the process for all 4 areas to ensure they are followed and report to SVP Global Manufacturing.

Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Understands University Furnishings DBA The Living Company seating and case goods manufacturing process capability requirements and opportunities
• Understands the customer, product lines and product specifications
• Understands quality system requirements
