Continuous Improvement Lead

Objective of job:

• Support the introduction of a continuous improvement process (KVP) and manage DRX Ideas

Principle activities

• Conduct associate training sessions on standards

• Identify improvement potential in standards and inform central office

• Determine capacities, based on key identifiers (e.g. productivity, scrap, etc.) in cooperation with the responsible persons in the plants

• Conduct workshops for various plant functions (e.g. Production, Logistics, etc.) to identify improvement potential (e.g. with regard to minutes, space and material, parametrization of production equipment, reduction of error rates, etc.)

• Compile workshop results and create corresponding reports for supervisors/management

• Implement actions, responsibilities and schedules to realize potential capacities, in cooperation with the team

• Implement agreed actions, in cooperation with the area involved

• Cooperate in optimizing standards/processes/production equipment (e.g. computer-aided monitoring of maintenance cycles via databases, etc.)

• Support employees in creating A3 and greenbelt projects

• Manage Obeya room: Organize and moderate management meetings about CI and DRX Ideas.

• Monitor implementation status for CI and DRX Ideas

Specialized knowledge / education:

• Advanced knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma tools and techniques. Solid vocational training or engineering degree.

Work experience:

• Relevant experience in production environment, esp. In improvement processes and preferably in automotive.

Additional knowledge:

• Standardized procedures and processes, and general work instructions; progress is monitored at longer intervals
