[Công Ty Thụy Sĩ] Lab Technician Water Lab/ Kỹ Sư Cơ Khí/ Cơ Điện Cho Phòng Thí Nghiệm Nước (Không Yêu Cầu Kinh Nghiệm)

We are looking for a Lab technician focus on #mechanical activities for our lab in Hanoi. In this role you will report to the Lab Researcher and you will be based in our offices in Hanoi, Vietnam. Your overall responsibility will be to follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization’s raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Implement Validation and Development studies/projects of water purification products and other new products according to the study plans.

• Follow strictly the testing procedures, including validation tests, physico-chemical analyses (pH, flow rate, turbidity, disinfectants residual, surface tension, etc.) and mechanical analyses (durability test, temperature resistant, plastic resistant, hardness, dimensions…)

• Perform routine quantitative and qualitative analysis to verify performance of Raw Materials and products and compile research data

• Follow instructions and checklists to set-up equipment and apparatus and prepare chemical solutions for use in tests

• Record results, perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations

• Participate in the creation and installation of new Products’ Test Procedures

• Supervise a group of lab aids while working together with them

• Preparation of filter prototypes for preliminary testing

• Apply safety guidelines;

• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order

• Meet deadlines for results/reports submission

As a laboratory Technician, you will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Technology and Engineering, Material technology, Engineering Physics, Chemical Technology or equivalents

• No experience required

• Be experienced in mechanical field (laboratory, factory, 3D measuring machine…) would be an advantage

• Experience in laboratory for chemical analysis would be an advantage

• Be experienced in laboratory equipment maintenance would be an advantage

• Be experienced in laboratory experiments’ set-up would be an advantage

• Be experienced in reporting laboratory results would be an advantage

• Be experienced in laboratory safety procedures would be an advantage

• Familiar with Microsoft Window software (Excel, Word) and Internet applications (Email, Skype)

• Be experienced in working under quality assurance systems: ISO IEC 17025, GLP or equivalent would be an asset

• Be experienced in working with hazardous chemical substances

• Be able to work on multi tasks

• Be able to think analytically, precise

• Be able to learn quickly and understand a complex working environment

• Be an effective team builder and a loyal team player

• Fluent in Vietnamese

• Fluent in English reading and written would be an advantage
