Our Story

About LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam (LMV)

There’s a lot to say about our latest site - which reflects its significance to our business. We now have six manufacturing sites globally and this is the second in Asia. As well as expanding our global supply chain, it also means we can now respond quickly to consumer demand. Choosing Vietnam brings us closer to some of our most important markets. So we’ve not only shortened our supply chain; we’ve also reduced our environmental impact in the process.
In fact, LMV will be our first carbon-neutral site as its energy will be supplied from solar panels on its roof and a nearby farm. Our focus here will be on moulding and packing. The very first LEGO brick destined for our Asian Pacific market is due to roll off our production line in 2024.

With this in mind, we can meet both the growth in demand in our markets and our responsibilities as good corporate citizens. More play experience for as many as possible. In a future as bright as possible.

Company Way

What’s it like to work here

Just imagine working for one of the world's most recognised and loved brands. Joining the LEGO Group means you’ll discover an organisation with a unique and inspiring culture.

Learning through play: Play is an essential part of working here. We believe this sparks your curious mind to explore the possibilities. We even have an annual Play Day event. All our colleagues across the globe simply enjoy their time together exploring the power of play.

Diversity & Inclusion: Big things start with small actions. Working towards building an increasingly diverse and inclusive workforce is top of our agenda.

Our Leadership Playground: Leadership isn’t a position – it’s something we all do that brings out the best in everyone. Be Brave. Be Curious. Be Focused. When we do this, all of our colleagues will feel energized at work every day.

Competitive Compensation & Benefits Package: At LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam, we care about your family as well as you. We offer a special insurance scheme and leave policy, to ensure that you can always take great care of your beloved ones on special occasions.

Every LEGO journey begins with an immersive onboarding experience. Your very own ‘Brick Mate’ will make sure this is awesome from day one. Where your career takes is really up to you. Whether you prefer to focus on learning technical skills or personal development, the choice is yours. The same goes for the way you learn. It will be our job to support continuous growth.

Our operations are just getting underway so we need creative minds to make them a success. This means there’ll be no end of opportunities to unleash your potential. Wherever you are in your career right now, we’ll equip you with the tools and training you need to keep evolving.

Explore our Operations

We’re passionate about what we do here. How could we not be when it involves bringing our iconic products to curious minds around the world? If you enjoy collaborating and want to take on a new challenge, you’ll find it here. Producing and delivering products as part of our Operations team. Right at the very heart of the LEGO Group.
Moulding is an area in which we invest heavily and innovate constantly. Both our technology and processes set the industry standard. Where we lead, others follow. Our focus on building specialised capabilities means we’re able to engineer high-quality LEGO elements. Once made and qualified, we validate every single one of them to maintain the best play experiences. It’s down to us to engineer whatever our designers dream up next.

Packing is all about the wow factor when our customers get to unpack their LEGO. So we constantly evolve packing platforms to provide the best experience. Our focus is on balancing efficiency with end-to-end perspective and sustainable requirements. By the end of 2025, we aim to make all our packaging from sustainably sourced materials. This means they’re renewable or made from recycled content and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®C117818).

Facilities has a big job to do: realising the huge ambition to make this the LEGO Group’s first carbon-neutral manufacturing site and a LEED-certified facility. The building will be operated with a very high automation level, an advanced BMS system & high energy efficiency equipment with Zero Impact Operations. The workspace here will be very people-centric. We aim to create a comfortable and enjoyable working experience that enhances the wellbeing, effectiveness and creativity of all our colleagues.

Besides, we do offer exciting opportunities for various support functions such as Human Resources, Finance, and Procurement in enabling smooth running of our core operations. Whether you're an experienced professional or just starting your career, we welcome new colleagues who are passionate about supporting our organisation and helping us achieve our goals.

Our Beliefs

Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do. We strive to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued and they belong.

The LEGO Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay regardless of e.g. race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability or gender identity.

Our People

Mr. Le Vinh Minh Chau

Tech Service Specialist

Our culture, I think, is the most important thing people should know about working here. It’s what unite us. We share what we know and support one another and this means we can keep on making things better, as well as developing ourselves.
For example, I’m in charge of IT. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in this area means I learn all the time. So I’m able to bring what I know to make my colleagues roles easier. I love my job here. The next thing on my list is to discover more about automation tools. This would be a win-win: less work for us, better outcomes for our customers. I find this really motivating. We always want to bring the best quality solution. It can be challenging sometimes. But taking a creative approach also makes it fun and rewarding. Besides, any chance to explore new technologies and I’m there.

We’re so lucky. How we do things here makes it a great place to work. And because the LEGO Group is so focused on looking after us all, we’re all feel very at home and want to keep getting better.

Mr. Le Vinh Minh Chau

Ms. Phan Hoang Ngoc Tram

Senior Project Manager

The LEGO Group is a company that brings fun, allows imagination, creativity and care for each employee as a big family. In LEGO, your voice is listened, your ideas are appreciated and you will receive full respect for who you are. You will have full support from colleagues around the world to succeed in your work.
My role as a Senior Project Manager is to build the best workplace for our colleagues around the world. Right now, I’m leading on all the approvals of our new factory in Binh Duong, Vietnam. This means ensuring we have all the necessary permits to build and complete the site.

For me, working here is a change to engage with my colleagues. Understanding their needs helps me to help them so I can deliver the best quality outcomes. In a way, we’re all building something. Strong, collaborative relationships for one. We do this by playing together, to know each other better. So we all enjoy what we do and feel more comfortable and happy as a result.

We learn all the time too. There are so many tools and platforms for this and we’re encouraged to make the most of them. We also learn from one another and the way we do things. Supporting one another makes us all feel like a family. Working like this enhances our capabilities so we can all fulfil our assignments to a higher standard. Putting each other first means we put the business first.

We bring curiosity and imagination to our work. In my role, this is about looking beyond the obvious and understanding things at a deeper level. Doing this enables me to propose the best solutions based in out-of-box thinking. I often have to deal with complex approval processes and, sometimes, I have to be very creative with how I navigate these. But there is always a solution. It’s about looking at things from a different perspective. When we see things differently, it makes all the difference in the world.

Ms. Phan Hoang Ngoc Tram

Ms. Huynh Thi Nhat Binh

Senior Partnering & Operations Manager

What I love about my role is that it enables me to play a part in championing our culture. As a Senior Manager in Partnering & Operations, I’m responsible for establishing our Human Resources function. This means making our vision, mission, promises and values a key part of the strategy that will help build and grow our operation in Vietnam.

“Our focus here is on growth and sustainability. To achieve this, we collaborate to create continuous improvement and the best possible outcomes. As always, children are our role model. They inspire us - and we aim to inspire them and help them develop as the builders of tomorrow. Each of us can contribute to this. By showing leadership in our own area of expertise, we’re able to meet our own responsibilities and, together, drive the success of the project and the whole team.

“We want everyone that works here to develop and become their best self. This means bringing imagination and creativity to what we do. Play is key to. We use this to explore and it keeps us all inspired and engaged. We have fun with what we do - and because we enjoy it, this helps with our wellbeing. It’s a big part of my role to introduce play programs here. This. along with our focus on diversity and inclusion, allows us all to be ourselves and feel like we belong.

“People are our biggest asset and we invest in our colleagues in all kinds of ways. Learning and development plans are a core part of this. It’s important for me to keep growing in this way too. When we all have the opportunities we need to grow and because we all treat one another with care and respect, we’re all able to give our best. Working here is an amazing experience”

Ms. Huynh Thi Nhat Binh
