Employee responsibilities

• Keeping full accounting of the company in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and requirements of the company

• Execution of GL and subledgers accounting activities in Vietnamese accounting program and 1C (TN corporate management reporting) including journal entry booking

• Regular reconciliation of all general ledger accounts (e.g., bank accounts, receivables, payables, provisions, FA, inventory) including intercompany account reconciliation

• Payroll preparation

• Tax returns preparation (VAT, CIT, PIT, Social Insurance, Health Insurance, etc) and reporting to external authorities (inc. statistical forms)

• Changes implementation in tax legislation and accounting standards in close cooperation with CFO

• Preparation of reports and analyses for management

• Preparation of month-end and year-end closing of Mgt. P&L as well as statutory P&L, balance sheet and cash flow

• Being in touch with suppliers and clients —answering questions, checking statements, and keeping payment updates flowing

• Monitoring of the collections of the debtors (with the help of the sales team) and the payments to the creditors

• Collaboration with external auditors

• Managing of the accounting policy, chart of accounts, and tax procedures

• Participation in the development of internal procedures and regulations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting department, with at least 2 years in a Chief Accountant role

• Chief accountant certificate

• Education: Degree in the field of economics or comparable

• Knowledge of Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations

• Experience with ERPs

• Excellent MS Office skills (proficiency in Excel)

• Fluent English (min. B2 level)

• Ability to understand and articulate transactional impacts to financial statements.
