Chief Accountant (English)

Job location is in Quang Tri. Candidates from Hue/Da Nang are welcome, with the option to visit your hometown on weekends.

This position oversees financial and accounting operations for Project Companies, ensuring accurate, timely reporting in compliance with local regulations and group policies. It provides financial analysis, advice, and leadership to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial activities of the company.

• Manage accounting systems, ledgers, invoices, insurance, and financial processes.

• Prepare and present financial reports to management, ensuring legal compliance.

• Prepare timely tax reports (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT) and lead tax audits with authorities.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes per Group Accounting policies; prepare financial reporting packages per group policies.

• Develop and implement work plans for the accounting department.

• Manage project cash flow and coordinate with banks for reporting and fundraising.

• Organize asset and cash inventories; supervise and train accounting staff.

• Advise management on financial control, cost optimization, and resource management.

• Handle credit transactions and collaborate with auditors and authorities.

• Manage project company bank accounts and ensure updates per Group policies.

• Lead new system roll-out, design, UAT, and migration as per group requirements.

Other Duties:

• Support company director in stakeholder relations in Quang Tri.

• Coordinate with plant managers for smooth operations and address production issues.

• Monitor community development and local support programs.

• At least 7+ years experience in the Chief Accountant position.

• Graduated from University or higher in Accounting, Finance.

• Having ERP-relevant experience (SAP) is a plus.

• Group reporting- IFRS experience

• Related working experience in renewable energy is a plus

• Able to communicate effectively in both English and Vietnamese

• Independent worker with keen attention to details

• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task well

• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
