Chief Accountant

Subzero Engineering, a US based leader in Data Center Design and Containment is recruiting for an experienced Chief Accountant at our Binh Duong facility.

We are seeking a seasoned Accountant to join our team. This role involves a range of responsibilities including cost analysis, financial auditing, and reporting, aimed at enhancing our business operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and contributing to the improvement of our accounting processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Finance and Accounting transactions that are recorded and reported in compliance with relevant P&P, Vietnam Accounting Standards and Regulatory requirements; ensure they are completed in accurate and timely manner.

• Ensure that all monthly, quarterly and annual Financial reports are prepared in accurate and timely manner.

• Ensure that key controls for Finance and Accounting are in place and effectively implemented in every single process to secure compliance with Vietnam Accounting Standard, Direct and Indirect tax Laws and Regulations.

• Review Finance and Accounting risks on a regular basis, including but not limited to testing of key controls, and address immediately any issue and or violation identified.

• Ensure that all local tax (tax returns, declarations, documentation or other filings) compliances is prepared, reviewed and filed on a timely basis in order to avoid penalties and interest for errors, under-declarations or delayed compliance.

• Be the main responsible contact point to handle financial information/queries from internal/external auditor, tax authority and other Government bodies, or any financial/ accounting request from Head Office.

• Act as Business partner between Subzero Vietnam and Subzero USA for all Finance and Accounting, and other business-related matters.

• Perform other tasks as requested from time to time by the General Director.

• Perform analysis of actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

• Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.

• Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.

• Provide recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.

• Minimum 3-5 years’ accounting experience.

• Associates degree in accounting or Bachelors degree in accountancy.

• Chief Accountant certificate required.

• Preferred experience in furniture manufacturing environment and/or related industry.

• Preferably experience in a multinational company.
