Chief Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Finalize all accounting report and management report;

• Supervise the accounting department to complete full tasks of accounting report and management report, reconciliations, and ensure monthly statement closing, including separated and consolidated financial statements;

• Final check and ensure all tax reports Monthly/Quarterly VAT, CIT in compliance with tax regulations regularly reconcile book accounts with Tax Department and work with local tax office;

• Working with auditors to complete audited financial report;

• Ensure staff training and employee development;

• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures and accounting system;

• Cooperate with other divisions to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines;

• Assist the production and distribution division to prepare the budgets and all reports for the movies;

• Assist CEO, CFO, Head of Divisions, and other managers in budget preparation and expense management;

• Review company’s contracts to eliminate terms and conditions not efficient for the company;

• Other duties as assigned by Executive Chairwoman, CEO & CFO.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Chief Accountant and having supervised a team of at least 20 – 30 accountants;

• Qualified to be a Chief Accountant under Vietnamese law;

• Deep acknowledge of VAS, ERP, consolidated financial statements, and relevant laws and regulation;

• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills;

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leading accounting function in a Vietnamese company;

• Experience working with multi – branches across Vietnam.

• Good verbal and written communication skill (Vietnamese and English);

• An analytical mind;

• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships;

• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data;

• Ability to stick to time constraints;

• The ability to work under pressure.
