Chief Accountant

Job Summary

This is the ky role in Finance Division to provide efficiently and accurately financial information/drivers to the management, and oversee all regulatory SBV reporting.

The key job functions are: accounting, taxation, and reporting (both internal and statutory). The role is to ensure the accuracy and compliance to applicable accounting standards, policies and reporting processes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Accounting: formulation and periodic review of accounting policies and its implementation to ensure the accounting policies and procedures are in line with local and applicable IFRS and adequate internal controls are in place to implement the same.

• Taxation: ensure compliance with the local regulations, explore on opportunities to optimize the tax operation.

• Business support: manage directly or coordinate with other Finance units to support the business’ needs for growth.

• Lead and develop Accounting team: ensure Accounting team perform well and effectively.

1. Qualification: University degree with major in accounting/finance/banking

- Chief Accountant certificate

- Hold relevant accounting/finance certifications, e.g. CPA, ACCA

2. Work Experience"

- At least 08 years of relevant industry experience.

- At least 05 years of experience in finance/ banking. Practical experience in a business-driven culture and customer service oriented atmosphere and multi-national corporations is preferred.

- Experience in managing group/regional financial reporting and approval processes

3. Knowledge:

- Accounting standards – local and IFRS

- Familiar with accounting systems and processes

- Cash management

- Management accounting

- Taxation

4. Skills:

- Demonstrate strong leadership in managing the team

- Good financial and business acumen

- Display effective interpersonal and communication skills

- Advanced English and Vietnamese languages

- An effective team player
