As a Category Manager – Fashion, you will be fully accountable for the P&L of a portfolio of fashion products and will develop a winning category strategy to implement across our stores.
Utilizing your strategic expertise in fashion retail, you will identify growth opportunities within your category and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver a unique value proposition for our customers, ultimately increasing market share and profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Execute the customer-centric strategy for fashion category, buil a strong legacy for the future.
• Drive innovation within the fashion category by working closely with the broader Merchandise team.
• Engage and build strong relationships with fashion vendors, driving sales, market share, and margins.
• Creat and execute market-leading category plans, including new brand or product launches, promotional campaigns, and marketing strategies.
• Drive the development of private label fashion collections, increase brand penetration and overall profitability.
• Partner with the marketing team to create attractive and exciting promotional events and campaigns that align with pre-agreed sales plans.
• Collaborate with relevant team to ensure that store layouts, planograms, promotions and displays techniques are effective in maximizing sales and profitability for fashion category.
• Establish and maintain effective margin and price controls to maximize business profits whilst deliver a good value offer to the customer.
• Manage stock levels and markdown strategies to ensure product availability and optimize the product lifecycle.
• Lead and develop a category management team with a strong customer and fashion product focus, ensuring a high level of collaboration and performance.
Yêu cầu công việc
• 5-7 years of experience in Category Management or Merchandising within a fashion retail environment.
• Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a deep understanding of the fashion industry.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-driven fashion retail environment.
• Proven ability to champion drive continuous improvement in fashion categories.
• Strong commercial acumen
