Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in scaling the business, focusing on expanding partnerships and market reach within the broader consumer goods industry. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to elevate sales performance, drive brand positioning, and enhance market penetration across all target segments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales
• Channel Partnerships: Develop and sustain strategic B2B and B2C distribution partnerships to maximize product reach across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce platforms.
• Account Management: Strengthen relationships with key clients by providing tailored solutions, fostering customer loyalty, and encouraging repeat business.
• Revenue Growth: Design and execute data-driven sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives, optimizing product placement and customer engagement.
2. Marketing
• Market Positioning: Build and implement a brand strategy to establish the company as a leader in nipa-derived consumer goods, appealing to both business and individual consumers.
• Promotional Strategy: Drive targeted promotions and marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and product demand across multiple channels.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize market insights to refine pricing, adapt marketing efforts, and ensure resonance with target audiences in both B2B and B2C markets.
3. Collaboration with ITI Fund
• Collaborate closely with the ITI Fund team to align on strategic goals and maintain regular progress reporting.
• Mentor and develop internal teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving cross-channel sales success.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Experience: More than 5 years in business development, preferably within the consumer goods industry or a similar sector, with a successful background in B2B and B2C sales and distribution. Deep understanding of food or beverage technology is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is advantageous).
• Sales Expertise: Strong B2B and B2C sales acumen, with a history of managing partnerships and expanding customer bases across diverse channels.
• Leadership and Communication Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to drive team alignment and communicate effectively across departments.
• Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop innovative strategies for market positioning and scaling distribution.
• Analytical and Data-Driven: Skilled in using data insights to refine strategies and enhance operational performance.
