We are looking for a candidate for Business Development Director, HR Tech, located in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Job Purposes:
The Head of HR Tech is responsible for leading and overseeing the Business development, and management of innovative HR technology solutions within the business unit. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of HR Tech initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations through cutting-edge technology. The incumbent will manage a team of HR Tech professionals and collaborate with work closely with executive leadership, HR teams, and technology partners to deliver innovative solutions that support the organization's objectives.
Job Description:
a. Growth & Business Development Strategy:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business and sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the HR Tech sector while supporting the expansion of market share across all Talentnet business units.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing services.
• Identify and target new business opportunities in Vietnam in the short term and might extend to consul to Cambodia and other countries later.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
b. Customer Acquisition:
• Lead initiatives to hunt for new customers through various channels including direct sales, partnerships, and networking ensuring that the business unit meets its customer growth objectives.
• Develop and execute lead generation plans to build a robust sales pipeline.
c. Customer Retention & Cross-Sales:
• Design and implement strategies to retain existing customers and ensure long-term satisfaction.
• Lead and partner with BUs, drive cross-sell opportunities by introducing additional HR Tech solutions to existing clients, increasing customer lifetime value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Analyze client feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
d. Partnership Development:
• Identify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant organizations, businesses, technology vendors, consultants, and local stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create value-added services and solutions, leveraging these alliances to enhance the business unit's offerings and strengthen market position.
e. Marketing Strategy:
• Collaborating with Marketing Lead to create compelling value propositions and promotional materials I initiative I programs to grow business and win No. 1 position in marketplace.
• Utilizing digital marketing, social media, and other channels to enhance brand visibility and generate leads to enable more new clients through communication initiatives.
• This includes branding, digital marketing campaigns, and events to drive customer awareness and engagement.
f. Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage corporate revenue and the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve committed P&L.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the financial performance of the HR Tech business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L.
• Ensure the business operates efficiently and within financial targets, optimizing cost control and resource allocation.
g. Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, mentor, motivate the BD team and the whole organization to promote cross-sales, sales driven to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
• Establish clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and create opportunities for professional growth to ensure the team is motivated and aligned with the business unit’s objectives.
• Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and regular feedback mechanisms.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate business development, sales, and marketing, partnership, preferably within the HR consulting/ Professional services industry/ Financial services.
• Experience in international markets, especially in Southeast Asia, developing & executing sales and marketing strategies, have strong background in managing strategic partnerships and alliances. is a strong advantage.
• Solid track record of achieving revenue growth and market expansion in a competitive environment.
• Relevant certifications related to HRM; Talent Acquisition is nice to have.

• Must be excellent in communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities in English & Vietnamese. Candidate with proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.
• The ideal candidate possesses a Customer-Centric mindset. S/he need to prioritize the needs and experiences of customers and partners, aiming to deliver value in every interaction.
• The ideal candidate possesses a Agility & Adaptability mindset. S/he need to be Comfortable with change and able to lead teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• The ideal candidate possesses a growth mindset, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and improvement. S/he is resilient, open to feedback, and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and drive personal and team development.
• The ideal candidate must have these general competencies: HRM Overview Knowledge, Product/ Solutions - Knowledge, Client Management, Project Management, Operation Management, Problem solving & Decision making.
• Have business Knowledge, insights, strategies and solutions: Recognizes how the business works, understands and applies commercial and financial principles to create selling opportunities.
