Function & Responsibility

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for designing and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI

• As a Database engineer you will be responsible for developing application business logic using SQL queries, supporting RDBMS administration activities and developing rich reports and dashboards.

• As a database developer, you will be architecting databases (tables, views etc.), and programming methods based on application needs.

• You will be responsible for developing business logic using SQL statements.

• As a database administrator, you will be administering RDBMS databases.

• Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects at the same time and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Extensive experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI

• Experience in RDBMS table design and writing efficient SQL queries.

• Good understanding of manufacturing industry.

• Strong background in data analysis and financial reporting.

• 5+ years of experience in developing application business logic using T-SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts and Python.

• 5+ years of experience in developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI

• 5+ years of experience with Database administration in SQL Server RDBMS.

• Exposure to Microsoft dynamics ERP is a plus.

• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

• Ability to understand and apply geometric formulas and concepts.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to analyze and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
