Bank Accountant

This position holder is responsible for

• Process payment to ensure compliance with ADM policies.

• Work with the banker for supporting documents and other banking system issues.

• Maintain and oversee the bank’s financial records and transactions.

• Reconcile bank accounts with bank statements and ensure accuracy in all bank accounting entries.

• Collaborate with the treasury team for loan and FX hedging.

• Prepare bank reconciliation and FX reports.

• Prepare and submit forecast cash flow to the treasury team for cash flow management purposes.

• Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the direct manager.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Payment section

Update the exchange rate daily from ANZ bank.

Process payment as scheduled by the AP team.

Filing documents and downloading credit & debit advice from internet banking.

FX hedging AR & AP of service & indirect transactions together with Treasury team.

Provide the required documents to the banker.

Record daily bank transactions in Dynamic BC 365.

File the paid documents.

Reconcile bank statements with bank accounts in BC 365 weekly/monthly.

Prepare forecast cash flow weekly and liaise with the Treasury team to arrange loans.

Prepare bank reconciliation and FX report monthly.

Prepare a balance sheet reconciliation for the bank account monthly.

Other ad-hoc tasks are assigned by the direct manager.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Working Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the accounting field and 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Business Understanding: understand business and ADM policies, communicate, and work with partners across multiple departments.

Others (e.g., language skills, technical skills): Experience in using Navision (or other ERP), Microsoft Office, and PBI.
