Back-end Developer

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain backend services for map and geolocation data processing.

- Develop algorithms and systems for spatial data storage, retrieval, and optimization.

- Integrate geospatial datasets with external APIs, tools, and data sources.

- Implement real-time map updates, geocoding, routing, and other map-related functionalities.

- Optimize performance for large-scale, low-latency systems handling massive amounts of geospatial data.

- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless map experiences.

- Collaborate in an Agile environment to design and deliver high-quality solutions.

- 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with a focus on C++.

- Strong proficiency in C++ (11/14/17) and modern programming practices.

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.

- Experience with geospatial data handling, including libraries such as GDAL, Boost.Geometry, or similar.

- Familiarity with map rendering engines (e.g., Mapbox, OpenStreetMap) and geospatial concepts (e.g., coordinate systems, projections).

- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.

- Knowledge of database technologies, especially with spatial databases like PostGIS or Spatialite.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
