Assistant to Chairman [ Law Expertise ] _ Trợ Lý Chủ Tịch Về Luật Đầu Tư Quốc Tế

We seek an experienced lawyer who can confidently play the role of assistant to the group chairman. This position requires a background in International Investment, M&A, and corporate investment …This person will be based in HCMC and must be willing to constantly travel globally on business trips and directly report to the Chairman and Group BOD.

SCOPE OF WORK:

- Directly anticipate the whole circle of investment deals as a practitioner, from deal sourcing/analysis and assessment to selection, deal diligence, negotiation, implementation, and follow-up afterward.

- Involved in preparing and consulting procedures, documents for investment activities, and investment promotion.

- Prepare all legal records and documents, consult - propose the solutions and participate in the legal process, settling and handling arising issues and investment disputes.

- Be the primary contact point to connect the partners, government agencies, and external organizations according to PA expertise under the direction of the Group Chairman.

- Research and update international law, especially relating to the law on investment, M&A, Real Estate, and Energy... to help the Chairman and the GTV Group gain advantages in investment activities and prevent legal risks.

- Manage ad-hoc projects independently when needed.

- Assist administrative assistants with tasks when needed.

- Education: Major in Law, especially in International Law, Economic Law, International Police, Commercial Law…. Preference will be given to candidates with an LLB/LLM or higher education in prestigious academic institutes worldwide.

- Rooted knowledge of Laws, decrees, agreements, policies, mechanisms, and regulations... related to M&A, Cross-border investment, FDI, Outbound Investment in Real Estate, and Corporate.

- 6 + years experience in law firms or in-house, including 2 years in the international investment business.

- Actual experience in actual whole circle investment deals, from pre-project research to implementation and operations for at least 2 years.

- Strategic thinking, analytical-synthetic, communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

- Flexible and well-adapted mindset with changes.

- This job is based in HCMC and requires a willing attitude to constantly travel globally on business trips.

- Fluent English communication skills.

- A basement of Common Law or US Law... and wisely knowing how to research/ apply it to business practices are significant advantages.
