Assistant Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding Business Development)

Position Summary
This role is a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual contributor as well as an effective hunter with a positive record of relevant business wins and high conversion ratios.
Tasks & responsibilities
• 50% hunter, 50% farming for Air Freight.
• Develop new customers within the industry vertical and target customers
• Prepare a target of key accounts and effectively establish Air products/ services on focused trade lanes.
• Ensure Personal sales targets and KPI are met
• Timely response to the Tenders/RFQs
• Organize and participate in regular reviews with the accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention
• Develop a robust understanding of new and existing customer supply chains via a consultative selling approach, and thereafter aligning relevant solutions that address customer needs and wants
• Prepare competitive quotations, customer proposals and bespoke solutions tailored to customer expectations and requirements
• Build strong relationships and ensure ongoing success and sustainability of the accounts/targets
• Develop and implement sales strategies that enhance company’s probability of success and ensure effective and timely implementation
• Accurate and timely pipeline management via the approved CRM tool of choice
• Gain useful insights on industry trends, market intelligence and communicate internally and externally
• Work with relevant stakeholders across geographies and/or Divisions to ensure an aligned approach to new customer acquisition and/or targeted growth opportunities
• Timely making required reports to Freight Forwarding Sales Leader
Yêu cầu công việc
• University degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Experience of 2-3 years in International Air Cargo / Freight Forwarding industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good at Sales and marketing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
