Assistant Manager, IT Governance & Security

PURPOSE

To support IT Governance Head on:

- Implement FWD Groups’AI and Data governance framework to FWD VN business units.

- Ensure due diligence, conduct risk AI assessment and monitor key risk tolerance indicator

- Collaborate with business, technology and cross-functions to develop understanding of data requirements, challenges and pain points

- Provide business consultancy with regards to best practices in governance, risk management and compliance around data

- Prepare and follow up actions after AI/Data Governance meetings.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

- Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.

- Implement data quality management processes to identify and resolve data issues.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies related to AI and data initiatives

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and support data-driven solutions.

- Provide training and support on data management and AI governance tools.

- Manage data throughout its lifecycle, from creation to disposal.

- Conduct Third Party risk assessment for outsourced vendors and business partners.

- Ensure timely escalation and reporting of IT risk events. Understand root causes, follow-up with remediation plans and determine lessons learnt.

- Facilitate the review process for user entitlements in used systems

- Support for audits and regulatory

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or IT-related field.

• Experience

o At least 5 year experience in data management, information risk, AI governance or a related field.

o Experience with data governance frameworks

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Having acquired relevant certifications (CDMP, AIGP) or solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality practices.
