Application Engineering (Marine/Naval)

Supervise deployment of installation works with the objective to ensure equipment run smoothly and efficiency within established procedures and guidelines;

Determine installation work scope and ensure timing and contract terms are sufficient / attainable for the company and any of its sub-contractors.

PRESALES EXCECUTION

• Ensure smooth communication with other departments and BU

• Study and understand the project technical schedule

• Define the scope of supply

• Prepare the compliance and design the system to meet the project requirement

• Provide the estimation to the AE supervisor/manager

• Consult customers and sales on application engineering during pre-sales process

INSTALLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Follow up fabrication delivery process; arrange project resourse needs and make installation procedure.

• Monitor progress and performance of instatllation works from dealers, sub-contractors and suppliers; get advice for out of frame; keep management for any deviation.

• Monitor the jobs to be conducted timely at standard quality required

• Manage the project group to meet the requirement of customer

• Survey and inspect the project site

• Develop the lay out details, document required for installation.

• Propose and deal with suitable sub-contractor/ship builder on the project schedule.

• Guide and supervise the installation.

• Gather information and complete as-built document and other handover documentation

INSTALLATION REVIEW (IQA) & SEATRIAL

• Review the installation.

• Testing and commissioning

COMPANY EQUIPMENT & TOOLS MAINTENANCE

• Perform maintenance activities for company equipment, machines in order to increase equipment productivities and efficiencies

REPORTS

• Update related database and system

• Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports

• University Degree (in Marine/Naval Engine Engineering).

• Minimum 2-3 year working experience

• Strong technical skills in Marine engine installation.

• Planning & documentation skill.

• Communication & convincing skill.

• Acad drawing.

• Project management (preferable)

• Site survey and reporting

• Intermediate English level (reading materials; communication)
