Air Freight Sourcing Manager

Identify and evaluate airline performance to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of services. Oversee and assess logistics service providers.

Develop and implement global pricing governance structures.

Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines and logistics providers to negotiate competitive rates, service standards, and long-term partnerships.

Lead contract negotiations, focusing on pricing agreements, service commitments, and performance benchmarks.

Drive negotiations and participate in RFQ bidding processes to secure optimal rates and capacity for cost savings and operational efficiency.

Design and execute air procurement strategies to enhance revenue through innovative air product solutions.

Collaborate with Innovation and Operations teams to deliver effective air freight solutions tailored to client needs.

Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key airline/logistics partners. Align procurement processes with business objectives while ensuring efficiency.

Ensure compliance with international air cargo regulations, including customs, security, and environmental standards.

Oversee logistics integration and local contract setups, including pricing rate implementation and selecting optimal logistics providers.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related fields.

15+ years in global logistics or air freight, with expertise in air sales, pricing, and procurement.

Experience in negotiating with airlines and managing integrated contracts.

In-depth knowledge of air spot rates and supply chain management.

Expertise in negotiating and managing relationships with carriers and co-loaders.

Experience in pricing or account management at a global or regional headquarters level.

Strong knowledge of air freight operations and cost structures.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Advanced English proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
