Division: Business Office
Position: Accountant (8-month contract)
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Working hours: From 8.00AM to 5.00PM, Monday through Friday
Expected starting date: May 5, 2025

Job Responsibilities:
• Process invoice postings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• Review and process payment requests in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence for files in order;
• Check, compare debt reports and confirm debts with suppliers
• Monitor advances and deposits, and follow up with relevant departments for timely settlements
• Review and reconcile campus card/inventory transactions for shop
• Perform reconciliation tasks: AP items, revenue reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and promptly resolve/report discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate journal entries, including month-end and year-end closing adjustments.
• Working closely & maintaining good communication with other departments for payment process, accrual process & other processes.
• Support in Liaise with external parties such as banks, insurer, regulators, audit (when required)
• Assist in preparation of supporting documentation for audits or regulatory visits
• Assist Accounting Manager on other duties as required.

Key Competencies:
Technical capacity
i. Education/Qualifications
• University Degree in finance & accounting or other equivalent qualifications
ii. Experience
• At least 2-year experience in a similar role, preferably in international/multinational organizations
iii. Technical knowledge
• Good understanding of accounting principles and payment processes, Vietnamese and International Accounting Standards, business laws and best business practices
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel & MS Office as whole
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (Experience with MS D365 is an advantage)
• Strong oral and written English skill
• Customer services skills
